The Way to Glory

sun-shining-through-clouds-1920x1200-wallpaper280202We want God to use us mightily. We ask God “use me and I will do whatever it takes”. When the time to pay the price that isn’t expected comes, we think of going back to our comfort zones. We feel to drop everything thinking it is too much.
Hold on, these are what the Bible teaches about temptation.
  • You are not the only person When you understand that everyone is tempted it gives you the energy to bear it.
No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. 1 Corinthians 10:13
  • There will never be too much price to pay compared to the glory coming
I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us. Romans 8:18
  • God will always provide a way out also. We trust our father God to have the answer for the test. It is on Him.
But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it. 1 Corinthians 10:13
  • God’s faithfulness doesn’t allow Him to let us be tempted beyond what we can bear.
And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. 1 Corinthians 10:13
  • The wisdom that comes from God works for us in this situation. One of the meanings of wisdom is to know what to do when we don’t know what to do.
Whenever you face trials of many kinds, If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you. James 1:2, 5
  • We are benefited from persevering in the test of life. It makes us matured lacking nothing. Because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance.
Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything. James 1:3-4
  • Our response should be rejoicing as God is in control and things are actually working together for our good.
Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, James 1:2
